Jamie Martin’s favourite family meal growing up was his mom Patricia’s goulash.

Now, Martin, owner of Market Buffet and Grill, wants to know your favourite dish.

“We are having a contest and we want people to send in their recipes or dish suggestions, and we will put the winner’s dish on the buffet,” he said.

Market Buffet and Grill’s Family Favourites Contest asks residents to submit their suggestions, and a photo of their family enjoying the dish. The deadline is Thursday, April 26.

“We want our customers to tell us what they want to eat,” Martin said.

The restaurant will select three finalists and will leave it up to the public to vote for the winner.

As well as having their dish added to the buffet, the winner will receive two free family dinner passes for four to the restaurant, and free laser tag and mini-golf passes to Retro Planet.
